The PubSub Sidebar
The PubSub Sidebar is a Firefox extension that instantly delivers the latest weblog and news posts that match your subscriptions right to your browser. PubSub is the first large-scale public matching engine. We match new information to user subscriptions, all the time, in (near) real time.
The sidebar uses PubSub.com's XMPP (Jabber) delivery service to get subscription results to your browser as soon as they're matched. The service uses Atom-over-XMPP to deliver matching weblog and newsgroup results right into your browser.
The Sidebar comes configured with some sample subscriptions so you can get a feel for how it works. After that, you can create your own subscriptions to whatever you're interested in.
